A no obligation free quotation is provided after the translator has had the opportunity to look at the document to be translated. The length, complexity, language combination, nature of the text, liability attached to it (specially for visa application documents) and when it is needs to be delivered for must be factored in. Additionally, these prices reflect the true costs of running a business which complies with all the necessary requirements to legally operate in the UK (you can read about this in one of my most recent entries in my articles section). Therefore, you can expect the price per page for your Spanish visa sworn translations to range between £25-£40/page. (Can you beat other quotes? Please continue reading until the end of this section to find out!).
Discounts available for large and repeat orders.
Digital Nomad Visa are provided with a price pack once all documents have been provided for quotation, turn around times are 1 week at present.
Fast Spanish study visa translation service guaranteed for university students and language assistants June-October. 100% punctual. Prices will already include a student discount.
Turn around times depend on the length and complexity of the translation. For a sworn translation of up to three personal certificates the estimated time needed to complete the translations is 24-72 hours, subject to availability. You will receive your work as a PDF with my credentials validated. This PDF can be printed at home and taken to your appointment with the consulate in the UK or immigration office in Spain. My digitally signed translations can also be used for submission to UGE for Spanish Digital Nomad Visa applications.
If your request is urgent, I will most likely be able to accomodate it and not charge extra for this service. I can advance you a copy in PDF with the completed work and electronic signature (validated using a Spanish government system) on the day if you need to have your Spanish visa processed quickly. A print out of this PDF with my professional credentials validated using the Spanish government approved format is accepted by the Spanish consulates and authorities in Spain.
Translations of documents needed for your Spanish visa application and appointment carried out by myself are accepted by the Spanish consulates in the UK. I am sworn translator number 4460 and you can verify this with the consulate as they hold an official list of sworn translators who are allowed to translate your police and medical certificates. Additionally, I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and can certify Spanish into English translations. Widely accepted by the Home Office and other British institutions.
DO YOU USE AI TO PRODUCE YOUR TRANSLATIONS?
I do not use AI software to ensure the confidentiality of your documents is maintained. I also use a business subscription based email account to ensure privacy.
CAN TRANSLATORS ISSUE APOSTILLES?
In short, the answer is no. You will need to use the government direct service or a private apostille service when the Home Office has a back log of applications and you cannot wait.
CAN TRANSLATORS HELP ME WITH MY APPLICATION?
While most translators are only able to provide you with a sworn translator of the documents you request them to work on, by now, I have a solid understanding of what is required to be translated to ensure you only pay for what you need. I can also informally advise on issues surrounding medical certificates format and content and apostilles process, but I am unable to help with complex legal aspects visas. This offer of informal help is available to paying customers as a thank you for your business.
I strongly recommend you seek professional advice from specialist visa companies to ensure a succesful application.
The first sentence that springs to mind is "buy cheap, buy twice". The advantages of placing your business with me are the following:
1. I am UK based and can provide you with your translations for your Spanish visa application in digital and physical formats. You never know when a consulate may request to see the actual signature and stamp, (it has happened in the past) and you will be provided with a very tight deadline to submit the requested translations in paper. Fast shipping from Spain is expensive and can undermine all that shopping around made to find the lowest bidder. Please remember that in the unlikley event that you had to pursue a translator legally, those based in the UK should have included in their terms and conditions that the applicable law and jurisdiction is the UK and not Spain. Always check the small print.
2. Payment is made in GBP and therefore, you will know what you will pay from the start. Remember that payments made in other currencies are subject to the daily exchange and bank fees apply in most cases.
3. I will only translate and charge you for what you need. Other translators are happy to "take your money and smile". I am highly experienced in visa application translation and I am able to informally advise you on this matter.
4. I only commit to delivering translations on time and to a high standard. Low cost translators, in a bid to fill their schedule and try to line their pockets, will say yes to all customers and then deliver rushed, poor quality translations and most likely, do this late.
5. Every customer matters to me and I ensure your experience is akeen to a "concierge service". I can even assist during the apostille process if you use one of the services I recommend so that if any changes are needed to be done to the translations because your original document changed during this process, I can do so in parallel and save you time. I have a telephone number where you can call me and speak directly with me, please check the contact section. While this line is open during a limited number of hours, I can also give you a call back the day after if you miss that window of opportunity. Simply text me to let me know.
6. I am not a faceless company with an AI generated website that scoops the contents up from websites like mine (ahem!) and then regurgitate them in boring and generic terms to become a top hit on Google search. My name is Elena, I live in Yorkshire and I am sworn translator by the Spanish government, appointed in 2004 and hence, I have over 20 years experience as a linguist.
